App Permissions Explained
Transparency is a core value. Here is exactly what our app requests access to and why.
The Crilam Loyalty app is designed to require the absolute minimum permissions necessary to function securely and effectively. We do not request broad access to your device. We do not request access to your photo gallery, background location, or external storage.
Camera
Required for core functionWe request camera access only when you explicitly open the scanner module to scan an eligible Crilam Loyalty QR code. The app does not record video or access your camera in the background. Without this permission, you cannot claim rewards.
Internet Access
Required for core functionThe app requires an active network connection (Wi-Fi or Cellular) to securely validate scanned QR codes against our servers in real-time, authenticate your login, and update your wallet balance securely.
Push Notifications
Optional but recommendedWe use notifications to send you instant alerts regarding the status of your QR claims, important updates to your wallet balance, and essential service notices. You can manage or disable these at any time in your device settings.
